Blackberry Jelly

4 cups Blackberry juice
Juice from 1 lemon
3 cups sugar
1 qt. water

Combine berries and water and bring to a boil. Cook until berries are soft (about 10
minutes). Let juice drip through a jelly bag (can strain with cheesecloth as well). In a
sauce pan, bring to a boil 4 cups of juice. Boil very hard for 10 minutes. Add sugar
and lemon juice. Boil for 7 to 10 minutes more until it thickens. Pour into sterile
jelly jars and seal with paraffin.
