Blackberry - Mint Syrup

1 Cup water
1 Cup sugar
¼ Cup minced fresh mint
4 Cup frozen unsweetened blackberries (about 4 ounces)
3/4 Cup blackberry puree
½ Cup berry syrup

Stir water, sugar and mint in medium saucepan over medium heat until sugar
dissolves and syrup comes to simmer. Remove from heat. Cover and let steep 5
minutes. Add blackberries with blackberry puree and syrup. Transfer mixture to
blender and puree until smooth. Strain sauce into medium bowl, pressing on solids to
extract as much liquid as possible; discard solids in strainer. Chill until cold.  Cover
and keep refrigerated.
