off of Holz Rd. (CR 224), south of
Niederwald, Texas.  
Dinner on the Farm!

On November 16th, 2014 w
e are happy to be hosting the
Brooklyn Brewery's Dinner on th Farm!  The event will be
from 3:00 until 6:00 pm.  There will be a lot to do and see
including live music from The Lost Pines; artisan booths from
Blackbird Bakery, Liber and Company, Treaty Oak, Stowe
Provisions and Yeti Frozen Custard; games; a farm tour;
bonfire; and of course; dinner.  The dinner will feature fresh
produce from our farm and will be prepared by our friends
and award-winning chefs from Odd Duck.  Here is the
tentative menu:

Appetizers:
Coddled quail egg, smoked trout roe, shiso.
Stone crab salad, seafood crackling, green papaya and
Meyer lemon.

Main Course:
Turkey steamship, shishito and giblet gravy, mushroom.

Sides:
Texas boil: Yukon potatoes, sweet corn, fermented chilies.
Simmons Farm Greens – swiss chard, spinach, lightly
charred, vinaigrette.
Grilled broccoli, cabbage, texas apples, radish aerated
scrambled eggs.
Jalapeno and cheddar cornbread, Richardson corn meal,
fresh masa, house cultured butter.

Dessert:
Sweet potato pie, gingered crust, sweet potato
marshmallow.


It will be amazing!  Bring a blanket to sit and watch the sunset
or a chair to sit around the bonfire after dinner.  Tickets are
$55 each and limited to the first 150 people.  Kids under 10 are
